And welcome, friend!
My name is Celine Harleaux, and I am dedicated to empower you, with the tools of Usui Reiki — if you'll let me.
Want to know something?
I have suffered from chronic, cystic acne during 4 long, loooong years in my early adult life.
If you suffer, or have ever suffered, from bad acne (or any chronic illness, really), you know that one day can feel like a decade.
Acne didn't exactly help me grow into a confident, drop-dead gorgeous woman.
I felt trapped in a life filled with constant anxiety, shame, and self-hatred.
Have you ever felt a spot literally forming on your face — and there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it?
Having acne is painful and REALLY embarrassing.
And don't even get me started on the pains of dating with acne.
But it brought me to Reiki.
For that only, I'm grateful to you, acne.
When my skin was at my worst (and my love of life at its lowest), Reiki gave me little nudges.
For instance: I slowly stopped all processed foods and sugars.
I introduced meditation in my morning routine.
I slowly stopped freaking out whenever I woke up with yet another breakout.
And one day, I looked at myself in the mirror, and I said "I love you"... And I meant it.
Reiki gave me the strength to make necessary changes in my life.
It helped me regain my confidence (in myself, and in the world) and my awesomeness.
It showed me how to get rid of my anxieties and fears, and make room for love, joy, and abundance.
If you want to know more about my story, read this.
I now help others shine their true light. And that fills me with immense pride.
Honestly, if you had told me ten years ago that I was going to become a Reiki practitioner, I would have LAUGHED at you.
But it’s happening.
The following quote sums what my purpose is all about pretty well (thank you, Archbishop Tutu!):
It takes time, but we are learning, we are growing, we are becoming the people we want to be. It helps no one if you sacrifice your joy because others are suffering. We people who care [...] must be filled with joy, so that others recognize that caring, that helping and being generous are not a burden, they are a joy. Give the world your love, your service, your healing, but you can also give it your joy. This, too, is a great gift. The Book of Joy
